Music
City Legend Drum and Bugle Corps, Tennessee’s first and largest
“all-age” drum and bugle corps, has set Saturday and Sunday, January
26th and 27th for its next rehearsal and Open House. Sign-up for
prospective new members will begin Saturday at 9:30 AM (CST) at
Heydel Fine Arts Center on the campus of Cumberland University, off
of West Spring Street in Lebanon, Tennessee. All persons with prior
drum corps, marching band, and colorguard experience are invited to
attend.

Music City Legend Drum and Bugle Corps, Tennessee’s first and
largest “all-age” drum and bugle corps, has set Saturday, December
1st as the date for its annual Open House. The event will be held
from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST) at Heydel Fine Arts Center on the
campus of Cumberland University, off of West Spring Street in

Dobyns-Bennett for winning
the Tennessee Governor's Cup and Grand Championship at the 46th
annual Contest of Champions. Other noteworthy
achievements yesterday include Munford winning at the Bandmasters
Competition in Memphis. |

Sound makes finals at the DCI Division II/III Championships,
TPA would like to
congratulate Memphis Sound on Making the finals at the DCI
Division II/III championships. Memphis Sound represented
Tennessee very well by placing 9th overall in the DCI Division
II/III finals competitions with a score of 84.225. |

Legend Moves to DCA Open Class
Music City
Legend Drum and Bugle Corps,
a not-for-profit
“all-age” drum and bugle corps now in its third season of
operation, representing Nashville and all of Middle Tennessee,
has officially notified Drum Corps Associates, the governing
body of the “all-age” corps activity, that it will compete with
the “big boys” in DCA open class competition in 2006. The
announcement, by Executive Director Scott Rhodes, was a result
of the corps’ continued growth this past winter.
